Beginner to advanced - no experience necessary!

GROUP SINGING
Small class sizes and tons of student engagement!
New singers are welcome to join each week, with lesson fees pro-rated.
Grades 1-2, 3-4 and 5-8
Our program teaches basic vocal techniques using POPULAR music that the kids enjoy singing! Our group lessons provide a great introduction to singing for a fraction of the cost of private lessons!
Once a week for 4 weeks, beginning the first week of June.

STARS IN TRAINING/STORY TIME

Designed for ages 4 and 5
STARs in Training is our program for singers who are 4 & 5 years old. Our secret weapon, is our coach Carlie - an early childhood educator with more energy than all of our youngest students combined. We have made some changes to this class, to adapt to the online world, such as introducing a story time component. Even online, Carlie makes everything fun!!
Once a week for 4 weeks, beginning the first week of June.
$70/4-week Course

Intro To Piano
Once a week for four weeks!
Grades 1/2, 3/4, 5-8, 9-12 and Adult
The 4-class group course which will give you/your child a chance to see what piano lessons are all about without making a long term commitment!
A keyboard or piano of some kind is needed for students to practice on. We can help to arrange a keyboard rental (as low as $18/month) if needed!
Once a week for 4 weeks, beginning the first week of June!
$88/4-week course
Monday class options include:
Gr. 1/2 from 2-3pm or 5-6pm
Gr. 3/4 from 1-2pm
Gr. 9-12 from 7-8pm

BEGINNER Ukulele
Once a week for 4 weeks!
Grades 2-4, 5-8 and Adult
Back by popular demand, Sing Like A STAR's Ukulele lessons are back and just in time for campfire season!

Students will need a Ukulele for this course. Most local music stores are currently offering curb side pickup. Ukulele's are as low as $12/month. We can help to arrange the rental if needed!

We strongly suggest that students are in at least Grade 2, in order to experience success in this course - which is very important to us, so that they leave each class feeling good about themselves!
Once a week for 4 weeks, beginning the first week of June!
$88/4-week course

BEGINNER GUITAR
Begins the first week of June!
Grades 6-8, 9-12 and Adult
For the first time ever, Sing Like A STAR is offer guitar!!!!

We have wanted to introduce guitar to our program for a while now so we are VERY excited to start this course! Learn the basics, in a group setting in this class, OR, sign up for 1-on-1 lessons with one of our guitar instructors, by clicking HERE.

Students will need an acoustic guitar for this course. Most local music stores are currently offering curb side pickup. Guitar's can be rented for as low as $12/month. We can help to arrange the rental if needed!

We strongly suggest that students are in at least Grade 6, in order to experience success in this course - which is very important to us, so that they leave each class feeling good about themselves! However, some students in Grade 4 or 5 MIGHT be ready, so we will consider students on a case-by-case basis!

Songwriting
A 5-session course, taught by our founder, Amy Nelson this June!
Designed for grades 3-4, 5-8 & 9-12
We are VERY excited about this new class! Sing Like A STAR founder and award winning songwriter, Amy Nelson will be teaching songwriting basics to get our students' creativity flowing. The majority of this class will focus on lyric writing. However, if time permits in this 5-week course, we will begin writing music to go with our lyrics as well.

This class will be a combination of individual work and creating as a group. No experience is required.

Pay What You Can - SINGING CLASS

A flexible option with no commitment. Join us once or join us every week!
Sing Like A STAR founder, Amy Nelson, will be online twice daily to add the "arts education" component to your home schooling curriculum. This will be the same class, but offered at two different times.

As the online spin off of our regular group singing lessons, these "pay what you can" classes will still teach basic vocal techniques using POPULAR music that the kids enjoy singing! The main difference is that these classes don't require a weekly commitment, so there will likely be a different group of students each class. This means there will be less opportunity for interaction and relationship building. However, they are still a great introduction to singing at a fraction of the cost of private lessons! They will also keep your kids busy and make sure that they keep creativity, tons of positive energy and music in their lives during this crazy time!

Learn new steps each week with coach Kelsey, who will be online twice daily to add the "arts education" component to your home schooling curriculum. This will be the same class, but offered at two different times.

This is a recreational dance class, designed for students with little to no dance experience. Kelsey is an accomplished dancer but has been asked to teach this class with the objective of keeping kids moving and getting exercise, having fun and staying positive during this time.
Class times each week:
Gr 1-2's - Tuesdays - 11 to 11:30am OR 7 to 7:30pm
Ages 3-5 - Wednesdays - 11 to 11:30am OR 5:30 to 6pm
Gr 3-6's - Thursdays - 11 to 11:30am OR 7 to 7:30pm
