Group Lessons - Cancellation Policies


Sing Like A STAR requires four weeks' notice to withdraw a student from group lessons. If notice is received on a lesson day, that week will not be included in the four week notice period. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable. Equipment fees (World Drumming students only) and any music books or supplies (piano students only) are non-refundable.




Private Lessons - Missed Lessons Policy


If a student is unable to attend a lesson for any reason, there will be no refund for that lesson. If the singing instructor is ill or unavailable, a substitute teacher may fill in, the lesson may be rescheduled or the price of the lesson will be refunded. We appreciate your understanding that enforcing this strict cancellation policy is the only way we are able to offer private music lessons and still be able to pay our bills each month.




Private Lessons - Cancellation Policy


If you or your child is unhappy with your private lessons for any reason or you need to discontinue lessons due to an unavoidable circumstance, please let us know immediately. We require four weeks’ notice so that we can fill their time slot. If notice is received on a lesson day, that week will not be included in the four week notice period. If we find a student to take their time slot before the four week period is complete, we will gladly refund you for the remaining lessons. If your child is able to attend their lessons during the four week period, they are more than welcome to do so. The cost of credit card processing fees, music books and supplies is non-refundable.
